More repairs needed for the car. I got the tires rotated today, and the mechanic discovered a tear in the front right axle, so that needs to be replaced. That's going to cost $200 or so. What a pain in the ---. Wish I could do without it. Our pathetic car-dependent society: "an unsustainable arrangement."

While I was at Vallco, I dropped by Tatami for lunch since I had a craving for sushi. Apparently the crab meat in the CA rolls have been replaced with imitation crab. Some local Korean Catholics were there again; this time for a wake? Everyone was dressed in black. I saw two of the Korean nuns.
