Why do Korean pop stars think it is so important to make it big in America? For the money? Or for the status they'd acquire thereby? Is there any consumer as fickle as the typical Uhmerican? What long-lasting success can a non-American hope to have?

Only a few pages of the most relevant chapter (6) are available -- and here the author equivocates on the word authority, speaking of the authority a woman has over herself (the right to choose to become a consecrated virgin, for example;she cites St. Augustine and claims that women have authority over their husbands, when her examples do not substantiate this claim. The only show that a woman has a right to speak out about her husband's sins and to protest them. She has no authority to enforce behavior or to claim obedience.
Another well-intentioned book by a conservative Catholic that is more problematic than it should be, as it is dressed up as a theological argument from authority? (Would the author claim to be a Catholic feminist? The book appears to be an elaboration of this essay.)

The article itself hints at the problems within Latin traditionalism: "Unfortunately, the survey suggests that the majority of priests are failing to catechize men; priests are not specifically helping men to draw closer to Jesus Christ, Mary and Joseph." And not to God the Father and the Holy Trinity? (Fr. Bouyer had a comment about the new trinity that has replaced the Most Holy Trinity within popular Catholic spirituality.)
The search results for feminism.
I'm curious if Mr. Voris and his panel go beyond the socons in their critique of feminism.
