風立ちぬ
Saw The Wind Rises this morning, not dubbed but subbed. The story was a bit sad, but not in the way I might have expected. I think it does a good job of handling the controversy behind Jiro Horikoshi, though the cynic may question if he overly-romanticizes his life story. It is definitely an illustration of Miyazaki's love of airplines and flying.

Taking Their Cue from Secular Liberal Modernity
Again, you can say that this, like "Catholic feminism" is an attempt to take something questionable and purify it for God, but what if the basic assumptions behind feminism and "International Woman's Day" are incorrect?
