The Cult of Niceness

There are other Latin bishops receiving "blessings" from ministers of other ecclesial communities (even female "ministers")
so why shouldn't Pope Francis be photographed doing the same as well? If we are scandalized, it's our fault, right?

Men are civilized by other men, men are domesticated by women.

This needs to be carefully explained; men do raise boys to be men, forming in them the masculine/political virtues. But the latter part of the sentence above should not be understood as the women having agency or the role to form men - as if men are the material
which is being acted upon, or they are being directed by women. Rather men, when they marry, are now given a new role (with respect to their wives and also with respect to the family as a whole), a new direction to their lives, and must learn to adjust, adapt to living with women.
So the Johnny Rockets at Westgate has been replaced by a Smashburger (Yelp). I think I'll wait a little bit longer before trying it, and rely on the dependable places.
