It is interesting that the two men from the second version of Strike Back (Sullivan Stapleton and Philip Winchester in the middle) are taller than the men from the third version. Was this a factor in the casting for the reboot, to make the girl power more credible by having [male] actors closer in height to the actresses? It's all about optics, though in real life operators are more likely to be of average height. But there is no way a woman of comparable height (or shorter woman) could best a physically fit man in hand to hand combat, which is what the rebooted series shows, over and over again.
