You are a fool looking for attention. You don’t represent Jewish values. You preach hate for refugees, when your own ancestors came here as immigrants and refugees. Sit down and shut up. #RefugeesWelcome https://t.co/LUjIB2Dyu7

The Gift that Keeps Giving
That reality freaked out millions of White Christians who do not see “their America” as predominate. It was never “theirs” to begin with, and the assumption that something is amiss if White Christians are not in charge is the essence of white supremacy and Christian nationalism

This Doesn't Make Hamilton More Appealing
New arrival from @OxUniPress Andrew Porwancher, The Jewish World of Alexander Hamilton.

An example of Pharisees trying to take credit for someone deemed to be great or currently popular in mass culture (because of the musical)? Or was Hamilton really influenced by his connections with Pharisees?

Pharisees Doing Their Thing
Some thoughts @firstthingsmag on the building that's prohibiting doormen from pressing the elevator button for Orthodox Jews on Shabbat. Crazy that resident had to sue in federal court. Grateful to @WeilGotshal for taking the case & fighting the good fight https://t.co/HyXurQ50d2

Sohrab Ahmari’s The Unbroken Thread seeks to convey the spiritual inheritance that the wider culture would once have passed down to children but no longer does. https://t.co/BpK0RL9mtV via @herandrews

Will There Be Sufficient Nuance Here?
Thanks for posting, @RyanTAnd. Years ago (before I began dying my hair gray😆) Iwas a panelist at a forum we had at Princeton on the question "Who killed Christ?" Incorrect answers to that question have caused grave wrongs and injustices. It's very important to get it right. https://t.co/4rTHhruBbg
— Robert P. George (@McCormickProf) April 2, 2021
None at all -- in order to avoid putting the blame on anyone, and everyone else who could be blamed is ignored as well, the blame is put on one's self. Would any of us have crucified Christ if we had been there? Maybe not. The Apostles wouldn't have, and certainly the Theotokos wouldn't have. So this sort of casual, almost a feel-good statement in a perverse way, that "I" would have murdered Christ is just wrong. Christ did die so that we may be saved, but that does not entail that we are all equally culpable for murder. But Latin appeasers have to say this in order to avoid assessing historical blame and to make nice with certain non-Christians.

I can’t think of anything more misogynistic than encouraging all young women to focus on building a career *over* finding a good husband with whom to build a family; especially, knowing a career will greatly infringe upon her reproductive and future child’s developmental years.
