I just saw the battle station in the background of the poster; the same weapon of mass destruction again? Is the Alliance going to destroy it using a different way this time?
The Star Wars fanboys may geek out over the trailer, but I found it laughable. I have no reason to think JJ Abrams has redeemed himself, and if this is the big end-of-the-year cultural event, then... Borrowing from the soundtrack for The Empire Strikes Back? I really doubt episode 7 is as good.
This writer is probably wrong; even if the trailer is being used to market the movie to a different audience, the fanboys will watch it over and over and over again. And how many football viewers don't know anything about Star Wars?
