All manufacturing of clothing should be returned to Western countries, especially the U.S., instead of outsourcing the work to third-world countries. In fact the days of mass manufacturing are numbered, as it is dependent upon cheap energy, and we should be looking at sustainable alternatives. The third world can figure out its own solutions, since they don't need Western paternalism.
