A great piece about Wong Kar-wai 王家卫’s film. His film “sounds” like Satie & Scriabin to me. I highly recommend director Hou Hsiao-hsien 侯孝贤’s film if you are Wong Kar-wai’s fans. Both directors are cutting edge & unique. https://t.co/97mqp52h08

New WKW Movie?!?
Wong Kai-wei is making a new film “Blossoms 《繁花》after In The Mood For Love & 2046, to end his incredible trilogy. “Blossoms” is based on the 2013 novel by Jin Yucheng. It follows the story of 3 men from Shanghai from 1960s until 1990s. No doubt it’ll be another master piece. https://t.co/TY0K7XB725

Twitch: Review: THE GRANDMASTER Brings Class to the Ip Man Legend
So 4 hours of footage was trimmed down to make an two-hour theatrical release version? I'd love to see an extended version, or the original 4 hours! I don't doubt that the story-telling suffers from the editing, given how WKW loves to linger on the emotional states of various characters.
I had forgotten that Song Hye Gyo is in the movie as Yip Man's wife.
