Sarge's bike
I'm thinking of getting a motorcyle or a highway-legal scooter...
Sarge recommended a dual-sport adventure bike, like the one he has. In the past I was more interested in streetbikes... Ducati, Kawasaki, Honda (powersports), Yamaha, Suzuki, but it's been a while since I've looked at motorcycle magazines.No hogs (Harley-Davidson bike) for me.Here's an example of a highway-legal scooter:2006 Honda Ruckus

Don't get one, don't drive one. You wouldn't believe the number and severity of BAD BAD traumas that I see involving motorcycles. Ticking time bomb... organ donor machines. You should definitely not get one!
