Louisville, Kentucky
Seelbach Hotel

Decentralism and Regionalism in American Politics and Letters
Gordon Lloyd, Professor of Public Policy at Pepperdine University, will give the Keynote Address on Friday night. His topic is "Why Keep the Antifederalists Alive?"

The Saturday sessions will explore the humane vision of Wendell Berry. Wendell Berry is probably the nation’s finest novelist, poet, and essayist whose discussion of human truth is based on his agrarian experiences of life in Kentucky. We will be working in conjunction with the Intercollegiate Studies Institute and the McConnell Center for this part of the program.
