I've been thinking of my students this weekend... I am reminded that it is part of my duty to be a father-figure, and to show the boys what a model father should be like, and for the girls, what a husband should be like--it is a heavy responsibility, and one needs to atone for failures.

Kathleen Parker was recently interviewed by Raymond Arroyo in preparation for Father's Day. I caught part of the interview on the drive down to SLO on Saturday. Mr. Arroyo also had Kathryn Lopez on his show--apparently they're friends. Too bad she's so much of a light-weight on so many issues.
