On the way to church yesterday I saw the local Father's Day celebration over at Memorial Park in Cupertino, which was sponsored by World Journal, a Chinese newspaper. From what I saw, most of the vendors, booths, and attendees were Chinese as well. I had to ask myself, "What holiday do the Indians dominate in Cupertino?" How many Indians and whites went to Memorial park yesterday for the festivities? (One is more likely to see interracial couples between whites and Chinese than whites and Indians?)

So what is the first step towards removing psychological barriers between neighbors here in suburbia?
