Clerics: Man Up
Their credibility is at stake.
If the hierarchy cannot even adhere to the norms of justice with respect to the punishment of sex criminals and those who assist them, how can its pronouncements regarding moral theological issues of justice be trusted? If the same hierarchy tells the laity that they should not pursue justice through the use of force, how can some not think that the hierarchy is merely projecting its pusillanimity and cowardice as Christian teaching?

The Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life
website
Pope Francis names women members of consecrated life congregation
Pope Francis names seven women to previously all-male congregation
By his "progressive" action Pope Francis has highlighted how unnecessary much of the Roman Curia may actually be. While it may facilitate the growth and spread of certain religious communities to have them under the supervision of the patriarch rather than to the other bishops of the patriarchate, there are two questions that need to be asked:
1. Does this derogate too much from the authority of the local bishop (or perhaps, the presbyteral council)?
2. And are second millenium Latin religious communities and societies of apostolic life a good development in themselve, or do they exist because of a fundamental weakness of the local Church? (See the reflections by Fr. Gabriel Bunge on this point.)

Common Good and the Order of Charity
Beating a dead horse, the Latin bishops.
RC social teaching unmoored from the order of charity and a full understanding of the common good becomes easily changed into liberal morality and SJW activism. Let Latin bishops return to teaching the order of charity and the Natural Law before they talk about political matters.
CNA: ‘Never accept’ separation of faith from political engagement, Chaput says (also posted at CWR)

Controlled Opposition
Not even alt-lite... an attempt to play the middle (if necessary) in order to cede ground to the cultural Marxists and to work on a consensus that all true dissidents from the state must be repressed.
Female Virtue
What is the virtue that is opposed to addiction to indignation and it's associated dopamine rush?
