Posting This Not for the Message
But for the person, who inspires no confidence in his leadership ability. Will the members of the Anglican Ordinariate have to implement an ecclesial reform on their own initiative?
I just uploaded “Bishop Lopes Pentecost A.D. 2021 Message” to #Vimeo: https://t.co/Oa9KUA651J

No Invitation for the Anglican Ordinariate?
The Anglican Ordinariate might not be present in Oregon yet -- it certainly isn't present in northern California, though that may change in the near future.
Still, it might be too much competition for "traditional" Roman Catholics -- however one thing that does need to be done in the Ordinariate is a return to the propers and decreasing the use of hymns in their Masses.

Rigidity in Worship
When we think of formal worship, do we imagine court ceremonial, restrained in the name of being "dignified," like the British royals and their rites for example? Just standing/sitting and singing? (Or how some think angels worship?) Does this image hold some back from embracing a worship style that is more expressive corporeally, with greater use of gestures and postures? (Not shaking and dancing, as some are wont to do in accordance with the "liturgical" music used in some Uhmerican OF Masses.)

Episcopalians
What are their numbers like in the South? A possibility of the Anglican Ordinariate gaining some converts in that region?

Msgr. Lopes is a hometown boy, from Fremont and originally from the archdiocese of San Francisco; in all likelihood a Californian neo-Yankee, now bishop of the Anglican Ordinariate. Would Italians welcome a German as their bishop, if he was not one of them in culture and identity? Why should it be any different for the Anglican Ordinariate. Unfortunately, it is likely that most members of the Anglican Ordinariate adhere to political correctness and play down any ethnic component of their identity.
How traditional are the processionals? Too triumphalistic and secular in sound... inappropriate use of horns/brass. And get rid of the organ. Does there need to be a reform of the processional rite/entrance hymn [introit] in the Roman rite and the Anglican Ordinariate rite?
Edit. And his singing ability? How's he qualified to become the bishop of former Anglicans? (half-joking)

Tomorrow
EWTN Broadcast • Mass of Ordination • First Bishop of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter
The Romans wouldn't allow the Mass to be done ad orientem at the Roman co-cathedral in Houston. The Anglican Catholics should have protested and threatened to have the ceremony moved to Our Lady of Walsingham.
