Ioan Sauca - Interim General Secretery
As the director of the Bossey Institute, Ioan Sauca is dressed like an abbot or something. Why? Especially when the WCC and the institute have embraced feminism:

We Are Weimar?
Privatization of violence and the state’s inability to control far-left uprisings led German liberalism to suicide—one of many harsh lessons we need to relearn from World War II: https://t.co/2WZzvKLa5M (@sullydish @RealClearHistry )

Dreher: "@sullydish is exactly right. The term 'Weimar America' has been bandied about on the Right for a few years, but now, it is less a pejorative description than a neutral one." God help us. https://t.co/LqUrU0GSp3

What a Cuck.
“Germany’s past is a fractured past – with responsibility for the murdering of millions and the suffering of millions. That breaks our hearts. And that is why I say that this country can only be loved with a broken heart.” – Federal President Steinmeier in speech on #8May. pic.twitter.com/GE9wDECoSb— Germany at NATO (@GermanyNATO) May 8, 2020

Heimat
The genius of Heimat‘s storytelling is that Eduard’s becoming a Nazi functionary is never explained. He just turns up one day wearing an armband and a party uniform, like it’s the most normal thing in the world. That’s how most others treat him. You get it: there wasn’t any real moral struggle for Eduard in this choice. It was just what people did, becoming Nazis — and for him, it finally gives him respectability and a sense of mission, after having spent the postwar years struggling to find a place for himself. Eduard’s mother is quietly against the Nazis, but doesn’t say anything. All too human. We have an ongoing crisis of meaning; the potential for that to be exploited by those with power to take advantage of the lost is there, and those on the left have already used it to their advantage. (Look at those who participate in Antifa.) We must provide a different vision, one centered on authentic communal life and all that entails, and we must live it, even if we have to oppose those who supposedly share the same religion. We [men] cannot water down our principles in order to have their acceptance or approval.
Defend community and liberty.

Parallels With the Weimar Republic?
In America, the public is given zero information on the "Weimar Republic," the period in Germany post-WWI that led to the rise of the NationaI SociaIists in 1933.
— U.S. Uprising ✊🏻 (@USUprising) March 22, 2019
This is deliberate. The period holds too many secrets to the modern world.
This thread will expose those secrets. pic.twitter.com/4mVbkYoC6T
