I see a lot of condemnations of the Hong Kong protestors by mainlanders but also by other ostensibly Hong Kong people. Is it part of a subservient mindset? Or are they content with having limited freedom for the sake of security, financial or otherwise? Or do they fear the repercussions of repression by the Mainland government?
