Han Fei Zi, along with Li Si, was a disciple of the Confucian Xun Zi. Han Fei Zi and Li Si developed the school of Chinese political theory/philosophy known as Legalism, fa jia. Both contributed to the rise of the Qin state and its eventual dominance, leading to the Qin dynasty.
