I'm not sure I understand the financial angle. If the congregation is mostly made up of "prosperous" gay men, aren't they supporting the Center?
I find the whole thing confusing. Where I come from, the Jesuits are relatively poor and work with the poor. Here in Boston the Jesuits are rich and work with the rich. Money money money,status status status. Even the JUC isn't about the poor. It's a total culture shock.
