Learned today that the secretary at one of the schools is retiring this year -- it's probably a good time, since she should have retirement benefits. She's been working a lot of extra hours with no extra pay because of all of the cutbacks the district had to impose. I've known her for quite some time, almost 15 years (though I wasn't working in the district all that time). It leads me to think that I should make some sort of "big" change soon.
