Or just an parent with exaggerated expectations for his children (or his son, in particular)? Parents shouldn't place the target too low for their children, but they should also be aware of their children's limitations and realize that children are a work in progress, and that they develop at different rates. 4 year olds competing in soccer? I do think that is a bit too much. They're barely used to their own bodies.
