Does he make a correct generalization with respect to apostolic Christian views on Divine Judgment? And why should apostolic Christians care about what Pharisees believe about the afterlife, when they have gotten salvation wrong? The interfaith dialogue that characterized First Things from the beginning is over, as is any justification for Christians to participate in the liberal project to the undoing of their own culture.
