Why Saint Thomas Aquinas Opposed Open Borders
Something that needs to be appropriated by modern Roman Catholic social teaching.
The gloss on the passage by the former LC Thomas Williams isn't that good. (He does not include political friendship as an integral part of the common good, and that is perhaps the most significant factor in examining the motives of those who seek to become "citizens" -- how many do so for the sake of economic benefit, or with an anti-white mentality?)
