What may be considered innocent — holding hands, putting an arm around her in the pew, some "light" kissing, long talks over Starbucks coffee — all send her the message that reads, "You're mine."

Solomon's Line on Premarital Sex

The Bible doesn't specifically say premarital sex is wrong, does it?
I don't visit The Smoking Gun often, but this story about a man who strangled his girlfriend after being inspired by Natural Born Killers strikes me as demonic.

A possible joint project between the ESA and the Russian Space Agency, was it meant to be a competitor to NASA's Ares/Orion system (wiki: Ares & Project Constellation)? While I do not have hopes that the country as a whole will be able to switch over to solar energy, couldn't the money being spent on various space projects be used to solve the energy problem?

In this photo released by the official Xinhua news agency, members of China's armed police demonstrate a rapid deployment during an anti-terrorist drill held in Jinan, east China, on Wednesday July 2, 2008, roughly one month ahead of the Beijing Olympic Games.

Paramilitary policemen on Segway personal transporters take part in an anti-terrorism drill in Jinan, Shandong province July 2, 2008. China will have nearly 100,000 commandos, police and members of the military on standby up to and during the Beijing Olympics to handle potential terrorist attacks, state media reported. What is the real agenda behind Libertas?

Declan Ganley was on The World Over last week, being interviewed of course by Raymond Arroyo.
He opposes the Lisbon Treaty. He seems to be Catholic; but recently I came across a post hinting at questionable connections. (You can see read some of this in the wiki entry.) Does Libertas have a hidden agenda behind its opposition to the EU?

The Stupidity of the EU

In the original regulation, at least:

Knobbly cucumbers could make a comeback
Zoë Casey, EuropeanVoice.com

From artichokes to water melons, the EU has a whole raft of legislation governing how fruits and vegetables should appear from the outside. Never mind if they are more tasty, vegetables that are too long or too knobbly, slightly misshapen or blemished are, under current rules, consigned to the EU’s food dustbin.
I believe Japanese supermarkets are very picky about the appearance of the produce they carry. It's rather stupid and superificial, but at least this is left up to the initiative of the supermarket. If this article is true, regulating this at the level of the superstate is just moronic.
