If I had time to read, these would be on the list too

The Romans Ancient, Medieval and Modern
Orchid Land Publications

Which is closer to the mainstream? Or not? How authentically Orthodox are these Orthodox pages? I see a lot of similarities to what the certain people over at Energies of the Trinity write at Pontifications when debating with us Latins. Just as one does not find the average Catholic layperson to be very familiar with Catholic theology, from whichever school or whatever historical period, is the same also true of the average Orthodox layperson? How would they respond if one were to ask them about Palamas or hesychasm, or the writings of the Church Fathers? Do the teachings of Palamas have a secure foothold in the texts of the liturgy?
