Ron Paul at least beat Giuliani in New Hampshire, what impact will this have on his campaign for the nomination? Will he have no shot at "becoming a viable candidate"? Do we need to wait until South Carolina and see if he can hold on, in the hopes that some of the "top tier" candidates drop out?
I do wish that he would be elected president, but if the people vote for the status quo come November, perhaps there is no hope for putting a reformer in charge of the Executive branch. Will Dr. Paul's run inspire other "independents" who are disenchanted with both parties to start running for local and state office? Or is it time to look at more radical solutions (e.g. Vermont secession movement)?

I'm rather disappointed with his reaction and surprise--this has been out there for a while, and he's just hearing about it?
