One of the sixth-grade girls in the class I had for half a day last week had a red blotch drawn on her hand. I was looking at it, and she asked, "Do you know what that is? That's a picture of the devil." I had a negative reaction; I don't remember if I actually questioned her, "Why would you draw a picture of the devil on yourself?" I probably did. She explained, "The devil likes me," and I think she added some other positive comments as well. All I could really say was, "The devil likes no one." But she wasn't convinced. "You're just jealous he doesn't like you. He likes me."
What sort of movies has she been watching? Do Italian horror movies deal with the occult and Satanism? What about Mexican horror movies?
