The last series of Prime Suspect (Prime Suspect: Final Act) starts tonight on Masterpiece Theater. Yeah, it's PC (especially the bit in season 2? with the abortion, and of course the fornication between consenting adults is ok, but better within a "relationship"), but still well-produced. Now DS Tennison must deal with a drinking problem (and blackouts) and her father's terminal illness, and solve the last case of her career before she retires.
