I thought I remembered seeing a Carino's on 101--last night when I was driving back from SLO I looked for it in Salinas, but it wasn't there. It's in Gilroy. There's another one in Fremont. I wouldn't mind going there again, instead of Macaroni Grill. I'd go to the one in Fremont, instead of driving all the way down to Gilroy, unless I happened to be in Gilroy again for some reason. It's a chain restaurant, but choices for Italian restaurants in the South Bay are rather limited.

I had fun at niece #2's party--"Mama Mat" and "Avee Avee." And niece #1 put a handkerchief on her head and said, "I am Saint Therese." Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to take her to the park, but maybe next weekend, since they are coming up. Otherwise, some other time...
