VFR: The latest fallen man-made god
The reductionism of geneticists was apparent to me even back in the 90s, when I was doing undergraduate work, though the precise reasoning for this conclusion has been lost to time. Given a choice between labs to do a summer internship in, I decided against the lab associated with the Human Genome Project because of the (wrong-headed) reductionism involved.
