The Personal is the Beginning of the Political

Not: the personal is political of feminism, which presupposes a modern, if not liberal, nation-state. Individuals and families interacting with one another and building (or avoiding) relationships is the start of political life. Our mistake is to believe that we have a political life (or community) when we do not at all.
