As for the speaker... is he just being expressive? Or is the expression in his voice a consequence of how his emotions relate or dominate reason? (He's not centered/grounded or "stoic" enough.) His intonation is all over the place because emotions dominate, like they do in a woman, hence the female-way of speaking?
