Adam Gropnik has a critique of G.K. Chesteron in the July 7 issue of The New Yorker. There is an abstract available. He argues that Chesterton (and Belloc) is anti-Semitic for recognizing that there is a tension between Jewish identity and integration into European (or Western) society, and advocating certain measures as a way of resolving this tension. He is also too localist, etc. etc.
