I note that the head of the Orthodox delegation (Metropolitan Emmanuel of France) for the Solemnity of Sts. Peter and Paul was wearing a long cape, which had to be held up by an attendant. I suppose that is a response to my question posed here -- Latins aren't the only ones who have long capes.

I suppose that it is normal for concelebrants to self-communicate; but, when those archbishops who received the pallium today ascend the steps of the altar to do it... something seems off.
