Liberalism teaches every individual to define reality and justice for themselves. That sounds good, but paves the way for Marxism and desolation.
And yet he thinks a tactical alliance between the two groups is possible:

There must be an alliance between conservatives and liberals to fight the new Marxism. But conservatives will have to stay conservatives without "fusing" with something else.
That's because he's controlled opposition and may even want to neuter conservatism even more.
