How many Jews (and believing Christians) were involved with getting Kings on to the air? Don't they find this adaptation of sacred history offensive? Jack, Silas's son, is the typical spoiled rich brat, who happens to be in the military--probably modelled in some way after Princes Harry and William. Did Jonathan lack virtue? Or was he righteous before God? 24 minutes into the first episode, and I don't think I'll finish the rest.

(And the transformation of the combat between David and Goliath into a confrontation between an infantryman and a tank was just stupid. It was obviously written by someone who didn't think it was necessary to depict contemporary warfare realistically.)
