Rev. Mr. Jose Zepeda will be ordained on December 19, 2009 by His Excellency Bishop Salvatore Cordileone, at St. Jarlath Church in Oakland. The ordination Mass begins at 11:00 AM. Members of St. Stephen's in Sacramento and the parents of the ordinand are handling the reception afterwards. If you would like to attend the reception, there is a number for you to call to RSVP. Does anyone know if the ordinand will be celebrating his first Mass in the area?
Alas, I won't be able to attend since I will be at my nephew's birthday party. It would be a good opportunity to check out the community.
