Should there be Orthodox scholars "preaching"? Not without a commission, if not ordination. But if a bishop were to commission a "layman" to preach, it should be only men and not women. But slowly the errors of feminism and liberalism are infesting the Orthodox world in the US, and they have taken over the Greeks. And as far as I'm concerned, any male academic associated with the Fordham Orthodox is morally disqualified from preaching as well.
