I have heard that the Dominican rite workshop has been cancelled. The information page is no longer up. Apparently the Master General has written a letter regarding the Dominican rite, in which he expresses his view that there is no real necessity for it to be employed. He is willing to hear arguments that it is pastorally necessary, though.

How unfortunate. It seems unlikely that Dominican-rite liturgies will be celebrated in this area any time soon.
